Meet the Founder

Our Founder, Katsy

Katsy is an ex-hotelier and the ultimate foodie. She had a rewarding and enjoyable career in 5 star hotels and a palace. She believes only in top quality ingredients, offering creative meals and desserts as well as excellent service. Under promise and overdeliver is her motto! She thrives on keeping all of her customers from chefs to event planners satisfied.

Katsy has spent close to a decade in Paris, France where she developed a taste for the best traditional French pastries. Authentic, high quality macarons were her favourites and she was privileged to live right where she had access to the very best. After moving with her family to Canada, she made sure to only bring in the finest macarons. With hand picked ingredients, natural flavours and colours, and carefully selected products du terroir, you are sure to come back for more.

Always on the lookout for the creative and the unexpected, she did not hesitate to add sweet and savoury macarons to her offering, which are a perfect fit for a hotel lounge, a cheese store or a tea-room.

Currently based in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, Katsy lives with her family and an adorably moody orange cat named Ginger, who keeps them thoroughly entertained.
